  • As a pediatric physical therapist, I understand the developmental milestones that every child goes through, so rather than pushing for perfection or rushing through strict timelines, I focus on connection, play, and building comfort with the process. I help parents navigate the emotional, physical, and cognitive readiness signs, ensuring their child feels confident and empowered every step of the way. With my guide, you’re not just training your child to use the potty—you’re fostering a positive, calm environment for both of you to grow through this milestone together

  • The time it takes to potty train your child can vary depending on your child's readiness, personality, and pace. However, my approach emphasizes patience and connection, allowing your toddler to learn at their own speed while making the experience enjoyable. The process is designed to feel like a positive milestone, not a rushed task, which can make it feel quicker and more manageable.

Although many courses promise fast results, sometimes over a single weekend, childhood milestones don’t often work that way. Think back to when your toddler was first learning to sit up, crawl, or walk by themselves. It took them a few weeks to a few months to truly master those skills before they were independent.

Potty training works in the same way. They will slowly develop the ability to feel the urge to go, slowly develop the ability to hold it until they find a potty, and slowly work towards independence. Realistically, this milestone takes 3-6 months for most children to fully master and be independent in!
